Ivy is taken by Tommy Shelby as leverage for a deal with her brother Alfie Solomons. But, as a hostage, it could be worse. He keeps her in his house, she is locked in her room but has a maid at her every beck and call. She has an unlimited supply of books, and every once in a while she is invited to eat dinner with Tommy himself. Ivy had no need for men. She only cared for her brother and any man she was on a date with left after she spent more than 10 minutes rambling about books she read. But Tommy can't just leave when he's the one that trapped her. Over time, with their talks and dinners, things grew. Trust, happiness, feelings. They were all coming slowly. Bit by bit they were tearing down each others walls. But Ivy is his hostage. And he needs her for leverage.
