Bradley 'Rooster' Bradshaw and Rachel 'Hurricane' Mitchell have known each other since Rachel was born, and he was only 3. Despite their age gap, they've been best friends their entire lives, growing up right next door to each other. That is, until Bradley graduates high school, leaving Rachel behind. It gets worse as Bradley finds out that Rachel's father, Maverick, pulled his papers from the navy, setting his career back 4 years. To top it all off, his mother dies. Rooster and Hurricane haven't spoke since the night of her funeral. Now, back at Top Gun for a special mission, how will they survive Maverick's grueling training and surviving the mission itself, all the while trying to figure out their relationship? Fairytales have always been a big part of my life. I used to have one read to me by my mom when I was younger. I always wanted to be the princess who got everything. This was not how my life went. My family struggled to keep food on the table so at the age of twelve I got a job working on someone's farm. From that moment on I have always worked hard for what I wanted.
