He seems to be interested in one recruit in particular. Though he doesn't quite understand how to go about wooing such infatuation. She feels for him, and he returns this feeling, but what is life without drama? What is life without risk, or mistake? In her sorrow and confusion she finds comfort in a new friend of hers. Also a well known author, Newt Scamander. Will Grindelwald earn his keep and show her how much he truly cares? Or will he stand by what he's always believed in, that love is weakness? MACUSA, the Magical Congress of the USA, has placed a specific Auror on the situation to help the British Ministry of Magic solve the case of where Grindelwald is, and just as importantly, where Credence is. Tina Goldstein is confident in herself with the task-that is, until she realizes how difficult it is to track down Grindelwald. With Tina living in his apartment for the time being, Newt Scamander seems even more flustered and awkward. His obvious crush on Tina only seemed to grow larger, and sometimes he even forgot that Tina was dating an Auror at MACUSA. When grindelwald begins to take over peoples minds, Newt and Tina make a vital connection between where's he's attacked. This story isn't actually from the third Fantastic Beasts film, it's merely what I think the plot might be like. It's got some Newtina slow burn, the relationship between Jacob and Queenie and Grindelwald's rise in Rio de Janeiro as well as many other characters' stories in between. No longer taking Requests I'm making this due to a request, and I'm not exactly sure if its going to be good or not be a cause 1. I've never done X Readers before, and 2. I've never done an imagine. But hey, here we go!

Newt's travel ban was not in place until after his book was published and he was able to visit Tina in New York before then. They become close, very close, but then, when Newt isn't allowed to leave the country, he is unable to explain the mistake in an article about him. Their relationship falls apart and they don't see each other again until Newt finally tracks Tina down, in Paris. The Fantastic Beasts movies do not belong to me. The entire Harry Potter universe belongs to J. K. Rowling.

There is a time gap in COG between the events at the Père-Lachaise cemetery and the moment the party appeared at the Hogwarts bridge. I was triggered by a deleted scene of COG ('the croissant scene') where Newt and Tina were exchanging looks and acted like.... something had happened between them..... things we didn't see on screen, but definately gave their romance a little more certainty. This video inspired me to create this short story, which fills that particular gap. Is it possible the following events took place...? Please note: You should watch FBAWTFT and COG first before reading this short story.... Also this: I do not own the characters in this story, they and the whole wizarding world are JKR's.
