Being from two strong pure-blooded families, they were bound to be rich, spoiled and, of course, prejudiced. But what would happen if a serpent put on a lion's fur?

For the longest time Devon Dursley had been told by his father and mother that his cousin Harry was a freak and that's all he'd ever been. He saw how Harry was treated behind the closed doors of the house. If Dudley and his friends weren't chasing Harry around trying to use him as a punching bag, his Father and Mother were sending him snide comments and submitting him to long and tedious hours of housework, unfit for the lanky 10 year old. Devon of course, remained unable to express the unpopular opinion he held, something which greatly upset him. Of course Devon never thought that Harry was a freak. He never thought what Harry could make happen was abnormal. He never thought that Harry had done anything wrong. But maybe that was only because behind his bedroom door, he could do the same.

"That's odd," Finley finally spoke as they arrived at the wall where they found the door last Christmas. "Shouldn't there be a door here?" She asked Draco who only smiled at her. "That's where you're wrong Evans, what we found last Christmas was the room of requirement." "Room of what?" "Room of requirement," he motioned for her to close her eyes. "But-" "Evans shut up!" Draco playfully snapped at her. He grabbed hold of her hand, "Now imagine a room where we can enjoy lunch, somewhere relaxing and..." he paused. "And?" "Sunny, imagine a room where it's always sunny." Finley smiled, "You Git, if you wanted Sunny then we should've gone to the greenhouses," she giggled. Draco smiled brightly at her reaction and thought she was prettier when she was smiling. "Now where would be the fun in that?" He came, planning on being like this, but then after standing up to a year six bully the sorting hat saw courage, so he was sorted into Gryffindor. After this, he soon starts to realise what he wants. Will he change his path, and make friends, and have fun, and stand up to his father? Read to find out! This story was written when I was a lot younger and just starting out as a writer. It is pretty safe to say that it is not well written, but for nostalgic reasons I have decided to leave it published. Just be warned before you read it is terrible 😂.
