Daemon has a daughter with Rhea Royce that he never knew about. After the 'death' of his wife, he hears of a girl with silver hair and lilac eyes with a fire in them. He then brings her under his wing and her story begins. Jaeheara will bring fire and blood to protect her kin. Sje won't allow the throne to be taken from her cousin without making the opposing force pay with their very souls.

The beast, who was feared even by the Dragonkeepers for his temper, lowered his snout, nudging her gently, no hint of those fearsome teeth showing. "If it's truly so awful, we can run away together," She told him, and herself too, stroking his red scales. "I know you hate the Dragonpit, anyway. I wish they wouldn't chain you up. Who cares if you eat the odd servant?" He made a rumbling noise, and she smiled. "At least I will have you," Daena said. Jon Arryn perished, and Ned Stark and Hoster Tully were spared by Rhaegar's mercy, honoring Lyanna Stark's dying wish, after she bore him Prince Vaelar (Jon Snow). For the good of the realm, Rhaegar wrested all the power from Aerys, as Prince Regent. Under suspicious circumstances Aerys died two months after peace was restored. As a reward to Tywin, Rhaegar released Jaime from his oath of the Kingsguard and the latter wed Lysa Tully. After quelling another rebellion, this time by the Greyjoys, seven-year-old Prince Aegon was sent to foster with Tywin, while Vaelar grew up as Rhaegar's second son.
