So when he meets a kind and beautiful girl on the surface, he finds a way to escape his old life. A few weeks on the island of Dachaigh with her grandmother who lives there has been good to Lily, but she's ready to leave, at least until she meets the beautiful black horse who lives in the small cove next to her grandmother's cottage. But after she meets the young man at the harvest festival with a piece of seaweed in his hair, she begins to speculate on what he is.
