Lucas, an engineer based in Davao, returns to Kidapawan, where his family originates, after a decade of being away. He returned to look for his dog Lulu, who was separated from him when he and his mother were forced to move to Davao. As he looks for Lulu, Lucas traces the history of his family in Kidapawan, and he will get to know anew the hometown he had left. He we also learn the magic of lies, the power of legend, and how they can both be used to teach mankind to love. But most important of all, he will learn to fill in the void left behind by a past long forgotten.
