A constraint dichotomy of real-life as "playing dead" versus the absolute manic chaos of mentally ill teenagers spiraling together as madness overtakes them both. Excerpt: "What're you looking at, Coke Zero?" Eleonora accused from across the street, watching as her words roused the black-haired teen out of his mindless daze. She didn't really care about the answer, and she didn't mind the absent staring. And he hadn't been staring at her, really. She was a curious object his eyes had landed on, but his mind was on another planet, never on her. He was brought back to earth by her playful statement, and Eleonora watched as his distant expression turned miserable and he muttered, "Bitch," before loudly pouring the plethora of empty soda cans into the recycling bin and slamming the top shut. A/N: This is, I guess, a Marianas Trench Fanfiction. It's my own story and I'd like to edit it to eventually rewrite it t get published as an original work, but for now, I guess this is a High School AU of sorts for Josh Ramsay and the members of Marianas Trench. Because this is being written with the idea of a novel and not just a fanfiction, It'll probably be close to 15 really long chapters. TW: Mentions of Blood and Vomit, Self-Harm, Drug Use and Addiction, and Strong Dissociative Imagery
