A pair of millennials buy a rural vineyard as a new business venture only to discover that the town has a dark history that's linked to their newly acquired land, and a malevolent threat is manifesting in any fruit that comes from it. *** Annika, a millennial influencer who is starting to lose all relevancy in a sea of Gen Zs, buys a rural vineyard off an internet listing to try and keep up her following. She enlists the help of her longtime bestie, Amy, an up-and-coming sommelier and all around Cool Girl-Without-Trying to help run the show while she works on branding. Even though the girls haven't been as close in recent years, working together to make an Instagram-worthy retreat seems like the perfect way to reconnect and rebuild their friendship. But when they arrive, the supposedly picturesque town looks more like a murderville with some less than friendly occupants, their Victorian dollhouse HQ is more of an Addams Family reject, and the actual vines are old and fruitless. When the girls discover a hidden wine cellar in their (American Horror Story-looking) basement, they also stumble upon a sash of wine leftover from the previous owners. Like, so much wine. More than enough to kickstart their a business without even breaking a sweat! It's the perfect solution and the girls have never made cutting corners look so good! Until Annika starts experiencing strange marks on her skin, and Amy starts learning troubling details about of the family before them...and it ain't cute.
