Maddison Lockhart was a depressed introvert, addicted to books and television along with imagining herself being the main character in many of the fantasy worlds when she needed a break of just existing. She spent most of her time laying in bed, hiding away from the responsibilities of life and her parents who apparently had better things to do than take care of their own daughter. What happens when she's had enough of her unfulfilling life, and is given a second chance in a place she believed to be fictional? What happens when she unintentionally does become the main character?
