Honey sweetened air, cicadas songs, and the swaying of Spanish moss in treetops. It's all August knew in life. In death it's what he calls his solace. Turned against his will at 19 and abandoned, August is trust into a new world that he didn't ask to be apart of. His birth family is disappearing and dying. His found family bonds are still fresh and growing. August just wants to carve out a small place for himself and 'live'. Something out of his power may prevent that.
