AXTON REYNOLDS: The bottle-red-haired girl is going to be the end of me. And somehow I am stuck with Lyric while we go on this rat race to Chicago?! I needed a partner, and she so gracefully offered. I only agree because Mama is offering one year of rent-free payments on an apartment. I want it. I want to prove I can stand on my own. So, if I have to welcome that little runt into our circus of madness, then I will. I refuse to get close to anyone. I won't. And something Music Note doesn't seem to understand... There is one thing I hate above the human race. Liars. I despise liars. So, why did this little Phantom of the Opera decide to lie to me? LYRIC ARMSTRONG: I hate lying. I really do. My goal is to help Axton open up. I hate seeing someone upset while they are locked in trauma they can't seem to escape. So, I created Project Axton. I will pretend to be the bad girl while slowly lowering my 'defenses' to show Axton the real person I hide. I was glad he accepted taking me on this little two-week road trip--it gives me the chance to figure out if there is a spot Axton can provide to me, too. As we curse through the states, Axton does open up gradually. Until he opens up completely. I never expected it. And then everything goes so, very wrong. Three things, to be specific. 1. Axton finds out about my project, and he's mad. 2. I told him a secret I'd never told anyone. 3. I accidentally fell in love with the unobtainable Triple-A member. And the fallout is catastrophic.
