The year is 2119, and the world we once knew has become an extremely divided and horribly superficial wasteland, where your entire life is decided by a label. In this world, people are either classified as faultless or an outcast. The faultless are a seemingly perfect superior race of human beings. Blessed with qualities we'd all envy, the faultless will never have to worry about a thing. An outcast however, must endure constant shame for simply being themselves. Often considered inferior in every regard by the faultless, an outcast is doomed to be shunned and ridiculed by the faultless for as long as they live. Living in this broken world is 15-year old Jade Parker; an extremely intelligent and morally concious girl who's been tortured by the faultless for much too long. When her fellow outcast and close friend Hannah is forced to witness the cruelty of the faultless firsthand, they both decide they've had enough. This was the birth of a revolution, one that could break down the wall between the faultless and the outcasts forever. Of course, two people can't start a revolution on their own. In order to gain respect for outcasts, Jade and Hannah will definitely need some help. After recruiting a couple of friends and other soon-to-be revolutionists, they begin creating a spark of hope for outcasts everywhere. As the revolution grows stronger each day, Jade must consider the magnitude of what she's doing, and if it's even possible. If she's to change the world the way she plans, she must trust herself as well as her friends. If she does, she could create a promising future for faultless and outcasts alike. If she doesn't, the results could be disastrous to her and her friends, and the tension between the faultless and the outcasts could rise to a dangerous all-time high.
