James Levian is not a normal boy. At 15 years old, he is detached, distant and introverted. The words "'I'm fine" are a constant phrase on his lips, and his face is a mask of voluntary deception. Having perfected lying to a degree that no-one in his social circles (surprisingly large for a boy of his demeanours) can tell the difference between his truths and his lies. The perfect mask... But not for long. Soon, his entire life is thrown into disarray, and the rather Victorian boy becomes the source of great danger, and he soon finds himself in abject terror, at a risk of losing all he holds dear. Faced with a great adversary, and not one easily defeated, James embarks on both a physical and mental battle, fighting his own issues, while dealing with the larger, lethal force currently threatening his life. A battle of minds commences, and James finds himself trapped in a dilemma, between his friends' safety and that of his own, detached self. When James finds a larger plot to harm his near and dear worse than he'd first imagined, it is clear what he must do. James Levian must fight. And James Levian must win.
