Our story, like most great stories, starts with a with a young boy and a young girl. And yes, like most great stories, they are destined to face great evil and potentially save the world from a fate far worse than death. And no, they are most definitely do not end up together. Our young boy has never been the type of boy that one might associate with heroes. Hailing from a poor background, single parented Shane has always been a trouble maker with a good heart. But then again, isn't that what makes a great hero? Our young girl on the other hand, is almost too nice, too sweet and too annoying at times. Angeli would be the type of heroine that makes some of us want to bash out heads on our tables in anger. But she, like all such heroines, will grow, both in our story and in our hearts. Maybe it was their two contrasting personalities is what made them the best of friends. So what does happen to our trouble maker and our wet goody two shoes find out about the world of the Caleste that exists along side our own? What happens when our goody two shoes' family is brutally murdered and our trouble maker's no-show father's dark history starts causing problems in his son's life? Will they fail desperately just as everyone expects them to? Or can they become the heroes that our world and the world of the Caleste desperately needs?
