Teacher, traveller and non-fiction article writer, I have written numerous articles on the topic of Japan and the history of Japanese/Western relations. I worked as an editor and in-house writer for Tokyo Noticeboard, freelanced for the Japan Times and have written articles for historical and cultural associations like the Manitoba Historical Society and the Associacao Cultural 25 de Abril. 

But this has nothing to do with my works on Wattpad! Here, for the first time, are some of the fiction pieces I've written over the years, but never published. Fiction, for me, is where the heart is and my true love is the art of the short story! My short stories, while seemingly random, are interconnected - borrowing from numerous genres including sci-fi, horror, fantasy, comedy, drama and romance.

My poetry collection, Neural Fuzz, is also largely inspired by my love of modern and post-modern poetry, while exploring mythology, Japanese haiku, limerick and other mood poems, without being constrained by verse length or form and skirting the edges of free verse, rhyme and meter. Poetry, for me, should be free to express what it is, as it is, as it needs to be - slice of life, moment of inspiration, insight - often comic,  sometimes rude, political, lascivious and at times, a bit ugly.
