As before, as part of promoting the upcoming publication of Bad Decisions, I've entered it in the Summertime Dreams Awards (https://www.wattpad.com/story/409331629-summertime-dreams-awards-2026). No time like now to jump in the pool with your own entries!

I've submitted Bad Decisions protagonist, Nat Harris, for Strongest Female Lead in the Spring Fling Awards (https://www.wattpad.com/story/407224349-spring-fling-awards-2026). Thanks to @E_Walsh for hosting this competition.

I did, but all my votes didn’t seem to help, there’s one way ahead of the others!

Congratulations, I will say, I personally, absolutely love your work. Your poems are so beautiful and so heartbreaking! Enemy is one of the finest poems I've read. Thank you for blessing me with your absolute masterpieces. I am again, hoping that you're now fine... War is a terrible thing, I hope you've found your people. Poetry is a great way to let things out, your poetry is expression at its finest. Thank you again for writing Fragments of War! ❤️

@CSBenson I'm happy you've found your resolve. And yes, you should definitely write more poetry! As for me, I will definitely continue doing these contests as they too expose me to some of my favourite works. It's amazing how some simple effort can bring together so many people. :) ❤️

@dingyyypp Time and distance helps. Like any "injury," there will always be scars. But I've learned that scars - physical and mental - are not what defines me. As for war, yes, it is a terrible thing - a necessary evil at times. What troubles me most is that the sacrifice of so many is often squandered for political expedience.

I'll keep following and look forward to seeing more poetry! Your contest exposed me many wonderful poets and I look forward to seeing more. Perhaps even setting aside novel writing for a bit and perhaps attempt another poetry collection.
