Yay! Lone Werewolf is back to ranking as well. Wonderful news for me and I am keeping fingers crossed for everyone currently impacted by either glitches or AI initiated content reviews. We'll get through this!
@myauraismoonstone I didn't do anything. But Lone Werewolf had already been reviewed multiple times, and Winners was a Watty winner in 2020, so maybe they checked them off fast because of that.
@Kamiccola anything that might have a contradiction to the latest content guideline.
Winners Don't Have Bad Days got cleared and has its rankings back, thankfully, but now the unfortunate Lone Werewolf is in for another spin of deranking/review --it must be its 3rd or 4th go since Christmas. Good thing I shredded those chapters in book 1, and I can only hope that the content checkers will take into account that the character is 18 in the second book. Fingers crossed, it passes the review.
@avniy1312 thank you. I edited steamy chapters in Book 1 when he was 17. So, it shouldn't break guidelines in this respect.
@DomiSotto what type of content do these boys look out for? It's wild that your stories keep getting targeted.
@DomiSotto I think mine was because of the mention of a certain self harm word even though it was in reference to a hotline number. That's the only word I've used in that book that's different than other ones.
Hi guys, it's my turn. Winners Don't Have Bad Days had stopped ranking, which means it's under AI review under the new content guidelines. Yes, it touches upon eating disorders in men, but no, nobody in the story is under 18 years of age. It's a contemporary figure skating romance, bordering on general fiction with a happy ending. I was curious why my A Deadly Sorority was in ranked for five days. Wow! This explains it. But like you, my characters are over age 18. Do you know why this happens?.. does someone report it?..
@DomiSotto Oh. As I've commented previously... Murder, mayhem, terrorism etc. etc. are A-OK. But teens smooching (or exhibiting poor eating habits) is verboten? As Alice said, "Curiouser and curiouser."

@Kamiccola Maybe, but there is a certain degree of irony that the newsfeed was taken down for not being sufficiently private, then the DMs are taken down for being too private. However, yes, there are work-arounds.
@DomiSotto thanks for the link. I think it makes sense. So many shady things go on in the DMs. Enforcing policies and safety in private messages is just another headache for WP to deal with. I don't blame them for focusing on commenting features instead. I hope this means they will focus on fixing commenting bugs. Those have been going on for years. lol

@DomiSotto it may be that it's an expensive feature to maintain that doesn't actually generate revenue, idk. From what I've noticed corporations are on a cost-cutting curve lately.
