Ben Franklin once said, " When you're finished changing, you're finished." We live in a world today filled with so much conflict and intolerance. Most of all we live in a world that is starting to give up. Girls scrolling through Snapchat filters and taking a picture every five seconds. Boys are obsessed with their bodies and what sport they can make it on. Music is now blended with messages of hate and meaningless lyrics. There is nothing wrong with having fun with a song like " Watch Me," and having fun with your friends. There's nothing wrong with posting on Snapchat and making funny faces as you expose your Grandparents to the app. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But there is a stigma, an over obsession. People now set aside creative and deep thinking. They trade in the pastels or the books or the writing for superficial photos." Humanity has the stars in its future, and that future is too important to be lost under the burden of juvenile folly and ignorant superstition." - Isaac Asimov

My name's Drew Michael Gaither and every single day I struggle with the world. I struggle with religion, the gods, sexuality, politics, and my own peers. I struggle with my brain and with love. I struggle with the future and how society unfolds. Most importantly, I struggle with the decreasing ability for change and not being around those I love the most. Once we fought, once we cried out. Now, kids back down, parents remain voiceless. Now, we all are meek, not good enough, and obsolete. I hope my stories can impact you and leave a message of change in your heart.
