Fantasy is one of my favourite genres. Frodo Baggins… need I say more. But one of the main reasons I love fantasy is that I like to  imagine living in the world that the author creates in their words. So how does @Andyjo go at building an original world that sucks me, the reader, in?

Fanfiction is always a difficult subject. I know this first hand (although I don't necessarily view my story as a fanfic). Many people here the word fanfiction and immediately think that it has been written by oversexed teenage girls writing porny and borderline illiterate stories, which are wrong morally, aesthetically and legally. But as I know this is very rarely the case. But I also know that there a reason some pieces of work that warrant this reputation. So you could imagine my initial concern over a fanfiction about Phineas and Ferb, one of my favourite cartoons. How would the characters I know and love be treated? Let's find out!

And Chapter 1 is up... finally! I have tried to take a lot the feedback I received on the prologue into account anf have tried to improve with chapter 1. I do warn you though it may be a bit rough, but it'll get there.

But now that is out of the way, I will refocus on my book reviews and try and get round 1 done.

Anyway if you get a chance please give a read and keep your eye out for my next review.

Ahh, romance. Not only is it a hugely popular genre on its own, but it also features in almost every story ever made, regardless of the medium in which it is told. However, creating a believable romantic relationship, is never easy. I know I've always struggled doing them. But does @Booksbeneaththebed manage to do it well? Let's find out.

Science fiction is probably my favourite genre. Fantasy being a close second. But one of the reasons I love both of these genres, is that while I am reading a book I love to immerse myself into the world the author has created, and shut out the depressing one we all live in. However, this usually only happens when I read 300+ page novels. (i.e. Lord of The Rings, Eragon, Star Wars Novels, etc.) So I was initially sceptical of the “The Song of Sqia'lon Seven”, especially when I found out that it was a short story and only roughly 1,800 words long, and I admit, I hesitated before accepting it because of its length. But, boy was I wrong.
