Gwendoline Nelson

"Bisexual? Did you mean bicycle? Bicentennial? Bizendal?"

Gwendoline Nelson grew up in a small New Zealand town where you were more likely to find Bigfoot than books with LGBT+ characters. She created Bizendal Books to make diverse books more easily accessible.  HOT SPOTS, her first book through Bizendal was released April 20th 2016.

Gwendoline lives with her boyfriend in Wellington, New Zealand, where they aim to make their apartment feel like Halloween on 'shrooms all year around. Gwendoline wrote her first thriller when she was nine: approximately twenty pages about smugglers who hid diamonds inside carrots to get them through customs. These days, Gwendoline's novels involve fewer precious stones and more getting stoned.
