I started this account after a bad break up that plunged me into alcoholism. I secluded myself and began to read, as a younger lesbian at the time we hadn't emerged as much as I had hoped. I was looking to reading to find about myself and even relationships, I was young when I started Loose Ends, and now in 2020 I realized back then what I was lacking was seeing real lesbian influence in reading. Lesbian relationships that didn't paint us as weird or as predators or something sick. One that didn't include celebrities, but normal never heard of people (and that is not wrong I have a celebrity romance story too). But I wanted some unknowns to pain their faces, their mind and personalities, I wanted a fresh canvas. I wanted something that was like a regular romance, the ups and downs, things they may deal with. Like watching a movie where it starts, just like a straight film and learning about each other only to discover the real love between each other. Today I changed this because that's why I wrote. Everyone is different but some of us are still navigating our ways. But we can help mentor the younger generations into reminding them they are not alone. Even though we may be older we understand those times.
