Jagriti Roy is a blogger morphed into author from Naihati, India. She started blogging in 2017 focusing mainly on various social issues, her blogging genre being poetry and essays. She was nominated for Leibstar Award and Sunshine Blogging Award by two fellow bloggers from Nigeria and USA.

She published her first poetry book 'Her Random Thoughts' in 2018 which is now available in Amazon which earned her two recognitions in '100 Inspiring Authors Award of India 2018' and 'Top 50 Influential Authors Award of India 2018'. 
Jagriti Roy is nominated to receive 'Women of Influence Award' this year on 8th March 2019 which is World Women's Day.

When she is not bent upon her literary work, she works as a teacher in a government school in India and as an editor of Yourdreamtale.com. Previously she contributed articles and stories to Vidlyf.com and Storymirror.com.

Currently, she is an active participant in the 5th Writing Project (WRIPE - 5) organized by Chinthaka Nanayakkara scheduled for 22 March 2019 the World Water Day.
