Kavya Janani. U is the author of the romance novel, With Love, Forever, two standalone sci-fi novelettes (Time Maidens series), and the poetry collection, La Douleur Exquise.
She wrote her first short story, The Ghost Sticker when she was just eight. Since then, she has been writing stories on whatever piece of paper she could find. She publishes her short stories on Pratilipi and Wattpad. Her articles can be found on Momspresso and Medium.
Kavya is also a poet and frequently publishes her poetry on Instagram and Medium. She also runs a poetry website, Dreamypoet. One of her poems, Women Like Her Breathe Fire, has been published in Sledgehammer Lit. Being a melomaniac, she also runs Isaiyaai Malarvaen, a blog that chronicles her relationship with Indian cine music.
On the professional front, Kavya works as a Customer Associate at the State Bank of India. She currently resides in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu in India, along with her husband and daughter.
