I have been living in the longest village in Europe since 1999, which I often refer to as 'the centre of the Universe'. I am married (Conny is German) and we have two children Raphael Harry (now aged 21) and Sophia Felicia (now aged 18). I live in a lovely 200-year-old house, which is situated near to the border of the Czech Republic. I have a BSc (Hons) degree in Environmental Science and an MBA, but I prefer writing and comedy to science and business. I like to write poetry and short stories for both children and adults (who are older children). In the winter I love to go skiing in the nearby slopes of the Erzgebirge, East Germany. Like 'Blade', the hybrid Unicorn/Pegasus horse from my 1st children's book called, 'Blacksmith to the Stars', I also don't like needles or eating red cabbage either. My 25 books (poetry, Novels, and a manual) can be found on Amazon as paperbacks; Kindle e-book formats; later I hope to produce audio versions.
I play football regularly, go to my fitness club once a week; I like to ride motorbikes. ALPHA-OMEGA ENGLISH COACHING is my company's name. I teach English in companies in Sachsen, Germany. I play the guitar and also have a great array of all sorts of CDs. My favourite food is Indian and I really like drinking beer and wine. My book collection is in the range of between four to five hundred books, but I have only read about half of them. I love acting, but here in Germany my German is not all that good, certainly not good enough to act, so I have taught myself to mime. If a picture paints a thousand words, then movement of the body has a larger vocabulary.
I really enjoy writing and I see it in two different ways: 1 in solving a series of problems for the plot and my characters and 2 as an opportunity to tell a story of people who don't exist, they only exist in my imagination and I have a very fertile imagination. I find it quite frustrating that I do not have native speakers around me to read my stories and to make comments.
