Melissa Demke

Ever since I could read, I've always loved creative writing. When I was 6, I used to use up all the paper I could find in the house, scribble down misspelled words and staple it together for my friends and family to read. Then as I got older, I had boxes of filled up journals with finished books I had written. 

Next to being a wife and a mother of two, becoming a published author is my ultimate life goal. To imagine, one day, the book I held in my hands could be one that I had actually written! To also know that I could guide someone to the edge of their seat, because of the words I had written, and from the characters I created.

For me, writing novels has been been a way to relax,  escape, cope, and entertain my mind. Previously, I have gained a small fan base of around 1900 followers on Instagram.  Comically using "The Sims 4" platform to give my readers a visual on my characters and whereabouts.  I'm excited to be apart of the Wattpad community, and see where my journey as a writer takes me!

Where are you from?: Originally born and raised in Oregon! The most beautiful state if I do say so myself

What genre of books do you prefer to write?: I focus on young adult/adult fiction dramas. I've tried to delve into fantasy, and drama is what I love most to write about!

How old are you?: 27! But once I turn 30, I'll start to age backward. >.<

Do you have any pets?: Currently, no. BUT, I used to own two rescue ferrets! Their names were Isaac & Penelope. 

What is your dream vacation?: A cabin, in the woods, preferably near a lake or river of sorts. 

Do you want to become famous?: Famous, no. Successful? YES. To see my book or books on the front table of a local book store would be a DREAM come true.
