I started reading in the third grade with the Harry Potter series. And it changed my life. It made me, for the first time, truly believe that magic was real. And for the next three years, that series was all that I read. The biggest disappointment that I can remember in my life was when my Hogwarts letter didn't come in the mail on my eleventh birthday. And after that, I kind of gave up on having magic in my life. But then I started to write. And from there, I realized that there really was a very unique form of magic out there, and it was very accessible to the world. Words. And I learned how to use them to my advantage. And very quickly, I learned that the right words, in the right order, have the power to change lives. And that is how they are magic. Because you don't need to have a magic wand, or superpowers to be able to change a life. All you need is a pen. Or in this case, a keyboard. And then you write words, and you write them well, and they change a life. Or, at least, that's what I hope happens. And it is my biggest dream for my future. To write, and to write well.

I will post a new chapter every once and a while. Right now I am not able to sustain a consistent routine. Sorry for the delays between chapters.
