Hello!!! It’s been tooooo looooong, I hope you are all well.
What’s your first Wattpad read for 2024?
Mine? Well, thank you for asking…
If you haven’t already read, though I imagine many of you have, A Shot of Petrone @OnceUponASonde is a fantastic read. It’s a hilarious coming of age story which navigates through the dramas of love, friendship and a modern family. Top-notch warm fuzzies and giggles galore!

ha-ha, yeah, I find myself reading (&listening to podcasts) about writing more than actually writing. I occasionally fire up a Wood Doc and torture myself by looking at the blank page while all my ideas churn into mush inside of my head and the words I'm trying to conjure up run away. How about you? Are you working on anything?

Popping in to say hi and I hope everyone is well. Sorry for being so slack and not reading all those wonderful stories I said I'll read. I will get there, eventually!!
Presently, I am teaching myself to draw (again) and this time I will not give up.
Watch this space....actually, as you were - it might be a year or so before I have anything I dare show.
I haven't given up on the writing either, its just a little smaller while I sharpened my pencils and do a refresher/crash course/no-short-cuts learning those important fundamentals.
Anyhow, I'm off to do the next drawing exercise in Betty Edwards book "Drawing on the right side of the brain."
Chat again soon... give or take a week or two....
          take care and remember:
"You should write because you love the shape of stories and sentences and the creation of different words on a page. Writing comes from reading, and reading is the finest teacher of how to write."
          --Annie Proulx

@MoodyMooseMouse Love your son's candor... The way it goes. Hang in there and do what you darn please, but show us a little before you learn too much, will you :-)

@MoodyMooseMouse. All is decent I guess. Just recovering from appendicitis, about two weeks ago I had it removed. I am doing and feeling a lot better though. You take care.

JohnnyTuturro

@MoodyMooseMouse I'm good too, and I'm just writing away here. I have too many ideas, lol.

Thanks for including my Bradbury Challenge in your reading list. Hope things are going well for you and Sweet Disorder during its feature time on StoriesUndiscovered. :)

MoodyMooseMouse

@tlryder You are creating such a neat and varied mix of stories with the Bradbury challenge. I am in awe, as always, with your work:-)
Thanks, I don't think anyone is reading Sweet Disorder, but that's okay, the idea of being featured is fun in its self.
