Neil is the author of The Surgeon, a gritty horror novel described as ‘fast-paced’, ‘nicely inventive’ and ‘gripping’. He was brought up in Yorkshire, and spent many years working as an aircraft technician throughout the world. He is a prolific author of short fantasy and horror fiction, as well as writing fantasy for children. The Surgeon was his first full-length release for adults. It, and the follow up, Don't Drink the Water, a collection of tales of horror, are both available on Amazon. He now lives in Scotland with his wife and two children. The new novel, a mix of sci-fi and horror that is a new take on vampires, was released in October.
