Romy Reyes

After ten years of writing, Romy Reyes has found her passion-sharing her wild imagination. She strives to write Afro-Latinx characters that she wished she could have read more of when she was growing up in New York City. Her first Young Adult/Teen novel is A Bruja In Spanish Harlem about a teen who discovers her witch power-a fire that burns uncontrollably inside of her, seeking its release. Romy hopes to bring more Caribbean folklore and mythology to lovers of magical realism, fantasy, and a little bit of mystery and romance.
