I value respect a lot so I hope you do, too.
I will have/write characters that are racists, homophobics, sexists, bullies, immoral, criminal, etc. But my characters' thoughts and personalities are distinct from mine. I do not, in any way, support or condone those kind of behaviors. I write characters that are as real as possible. If you don't want to read stories with those kinds of characters, drop my books. 

I write stories I know I would enjoy reading myself.
