if you're looking for your next dystopian obsession, this is it.

i wrote the production for girls who read books under their desks instead of listening to the lecture. i wanted to explore what would happen if romantic reality shows like love island, siesta key, etc. were about more than just romance. what if lives were at stake in addition to relationships? how far would participants go to win?

if the production were a real tv show, riley would be played by charithra chandran (edwina in bridgerton) or jessica mei li (alina starkov in shadow and bone). both actresses have delightful "little sister" energy with a strong undercurrent of tenacity. 

captain would be played by theo james, and that's obvious.
