            oh -  *  korekiyo cut himself off,  eyes widened slightly as he looked at the aloe vera.  he took it carefully in a bandaged hand.  *  is this for me?

            *  thoughtlessly,  korekiyo pressed kei's cheeks in a little harder with his palms.  like he was giving their face an affectionate squeeze.  soon,  a warm smile settled on his red yet hidden lips.  *  that is understandable.  anyone can get emotional at times.  i am just honored you came to me of all people for comfort ~  *  the anthropologist wasn't always the /most/ aware of boundaries so a thumb brushed against the ajin's upper lip just for a second before his hands were moved.  he hugged him loosely once more.  *  i am well aware that i am not the most..  /comforting/ presence but as long as i can be of some help to you,  i will be happy.  that will be good enough for me.

( @anthroapologies ).                    * it was shameful to admit, but when kiyo started pulling away, kei’d sort of panicked and flailed, thinking he was moving away entirely and since the ajin wasn’t quite ready for that, it followed after him and tried to hold on tighter. key word: t͟r͟i͟e͟d͟.͟ nagai then realized kiyo wasn’t leaving, just, was doing something different, so with embarrassment, the ajin calmed down. they looked up at kiyo with slightly wide eyes, feeling the human’s warm hands against their face. it wasn’t a bad feeling. *                          i’m … i’m fine. really. i think i just got… emotional. it happens sometimes. you don’t have anything to worry about. everything is fine.                      * kiyo had said kei was dear to them. that was good to know. it’d be horrible if these feelings of fondness were one sided. *

            *  korekiyo felt the /squeeze/.  the fingertips pressing into the fabric of his jacket.  of his /back/.  he tried to press closer to the ajin.  to hug it tighter.  yet,  they seemed as close together as they could get for now.  *  oh?  kehehe...  fortunately for you,  i can say the same.  you are so /dear/ to me.  i cannot let you go.  *  he replied simply,  slowly leaning back.  that way,  korekiyo could press his palms against kei's cheeks and stare down into his eyes.  *  are you sure nothing is the matter?  you've certainly never acted this way before.  it is unlike you.  it worries me a bit ~  *  he mused lowly,  thumbs thoughtlessly caressing their soft skin.  *

            i understand that.  *  many human beings were the same,  after all.  such a thing was more than easy for korekiyo to understand.  *  where?  a good question..  perhaps just my home?  that may be easiest,  no?
