I welcome constructive criticism and corrections. This is my first attempt at writing a novel and my first use of wattpad. More parts will be posted as they are finished. Thanks for reading.

I've always enjoyed reading about imperfect heroes; those with checkered pasts and deep scars. Usually, these imperfections are only revealed in hindsight. "Hope's Curse" is my feeble attempt at telling the whole story. I'm trying to show the heroine's entire journey including her checkered past and the injuries that left her scars.

About me:
I am over 30.
I have two kids, two cats, and one husband.
My real life is pretty dull, but the lives I lead in my head are exciting.
I like reading fantasy, adventure, mystery, romance, historical fiction, some sci-fi, the backs of cereal boxes, bumperstickers, and pretty much anything other than boy-band related fan-fiction.
My musical tastes are similarly diverse. I like Mozart, Eminem, Florence and the Machine, Damien Rice, Butch Walker, Metallica, The Who, Soundgarden, etc.
I play video games. RPGs, shooters, and adventure games mostly. I'm AustereCrayon42 on xbox live. I don't play online a lot lately, but feel free to friend me and hit me up for a party if you see me online, or just frag me and call me dirty names. 
My father was a sailor, but I cuss like one.
I enjoy bad movies in almost any genre. I grew up on MST3K, so I know how to enjoy them.
I sometimes quote Monty Python for no apparent reason.
