@KRRodriguez Thanks for taking the time to read those stories and reach out. I really appreciate the kind words!

Wow, just finished Once More to the River. I found it really captivating. It reminded me of Luis Rodriguez's Always Running. Wish there were more books out there like this one that really capture these little idiosyncrasies and feel intimate and familiar at the same time. Thanks for sharing your stories.

Dear Wattpadders,

I'm uploading a new story! If you enjoyed reading ONCE MORE TO THE RIVER, you'll love this new title: CRY ME A RIO. This story is a fictional account of Gabriel Bocanegra, who on the verge of turning thirty, plans a trip to Mexico—and then his mother tags along, steering him to an isolated, rural outpost in Northern Mexico to visit their widowed aunt who lives alone with her dog.

An over-protective mother. A foul-mouthed widow and her friends. A dog named Chocolate that killed chickens and another that liked to play dead.

This isn't the adventure Gabriel had in mind--but it's one he won't soon forget.

CRY ME A RIO is an atmospheric travel story about borders and family baggage, the physical divide between Texas and Mexico, and the emotional crossing one young man makes into adulthood, claiming his independence from the mother who raised him.

You can start reading it here: http://www.wattpad.com/story/17409590-cry-me-a-rio

I'll be uploading new chapters every Thursday. But if you'd like a complete digital review copy in advance, so that you may post a review, please message me directly. Thanks so much for giving this story your kind consideration. I love to hear from y'all. So please don't hesitate to drop me a note.

          Thanks again and always.

          Siempre,
          Erasmo
