Here’s one:
Every morning you wake up with small wounds; just little scrapes and bruises you attribute to flailing in your sleep. This morning, you woke up with a huge cut across your hip, a glowing golden dagger plunged into the wall and what looks an awful lot like a dead angel on your floor
Hope it works! This is probably better for a short story as opposed to a one shot, by maybe you can make it fit.
