I updated the app a few days ago, and ever since then my feed has been filled with recommendations that don’t seem very tailored to me. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this too. ☺️

@BeeGee565 Yes. it’s labeled ‘Show Me Less Like This.’ Just long-press the cover image and the option should pop up.

The confrontation began in the stone corridor outside the council room, where Ronan had caught Aurora attempting to listen in on the private meeting.
Trapping her against the wall with an effortless, arrogant smirk, Ronan dismissed her nervous excuses about getting lost. He leaned in close, mocking her spiraling explanations and teasing that "bad girls" who eavesdrop and lie require discipline.
Just as Aurora was trying to stammer out a defense, the temperature in the drafty hall plummeted. A low, heavy vibration echoed off the ancient masonry—not a growl of anger, but the deep, pressurized rumble of an apex predator asserting its presence.
From the deep shadows at the turn of the hallway stepped a large grey-and-white wolf. Its forest-green eyes locked onto Ronan with cold, unblinking intent.
As the wolf stepped closer, her body cracked and shifted as she slowly rose onto two legs. By the time she stood fully upright, she was a young teenage girl with dark green eyes, wearing an oversized shirt. Sarah looked between Ronan and Aurora, her face a mask of flat, unyielding judgment.
"You speak too much, Fae," Sarah said, her voice dropping into a quiet, deliberate register devoid of warmth. "And you press against someone who does not wish to be pressed."
Ronan paused, his playful demeanor faltering for a fraction of a second as he took in the newcomer. "And who might you be, little one?"
"I am Sarah," she replied flatly, stepping directly between them and forcing Ronan to back up a pace. "I do not care for your games, nor do I care for Fae who use proximity to intimidate. If you have information regarding the danger in this place, speak it clearly. Lying and teasing are filthy habits."
Aurora gaped at Sarah, astonished by the sudden appearance of a girl who addressed a powerful Fae with zero fear or hesitation.

Ronan chuckled softly, though his eyes narrowed as he sensed the sheer predatory force beneath her diminutive appearance. "A bit dramatic, aren't we? She was eavesdropping on a private council."
"She was curious because her life was threatened," Sarah corrected without missing a beat. "That is not a crime. Demanding answers directly is the honorable path. Now answer her question without trickery, or I will grow weary of words."
Realizing he was dealing with an entirely different kind of creature, Ronan raised a hand in mock surrender and let out a breath. "First of all, my ears work fine, so there is no need for hostilities.”
“I have yet to determine the need for hostilities," Sarah countered. "But your opinion will not affect my decision. Only your actions will."
Ronan swallowed hard. “Okay, well, to answer the question: yes, yesterday's event was connected to her. But no, she is not in immediate danger."
Sarah watched his face closely, searching the subtle shifts in his scent for any trace of deception, before giving a single, unyielding nod.
Then she let out a low, guttural growl that vibrated directly through the stone underfoot. The sheer, predatory weight of the young girl’s true nature pressed into the air, thick as ozone and cold as a winter storm, sinking bone-deep into the Fae. Ronan’s breath hitched as an ancient, instinctual terror gripped him.
"That was not so difficult," Sarah said, her voice smooth and chillingly calm. "But mark my words, Fae: should I ever have to come to my kin's defense again, you will learn the cost of offending a Hound of Heaven!"
Turning her back on Ronan and ignoring him entirely, she looked over at Aurora. Her entire countenance shifted as she smiled brightly. “You must be Aurora. I, too, am a Werewolf Princess. It is always nice to meet kin. I'm sorry to interrupt but you seem to have forgotten you are a werewolf! Can I eat this Fae?”

@silawrites also I know my chapters for the novella are slow— I’m so sorry!! I know it’s not helping my readership, but I might have to put it on hold and then write the rest of it offline. I’ll just have to see how things go after my how to book is complete and I’m finished reading your book as well as the other books on my list!

@AmeliaWellis Hi dear, thank you so much! I’d really appreciate it. Just so you know, there’s absolutely no pressure at all. If you feel like it’s not your kind of read, please feel free to stop at any point. I completely understand. Also, I’ve been enjoying For the Love of Nerds so far. I usually like to read three or four chapters in one go so I can really get into the story, so I’m just waiting until I have some time to sit down and continue. Can’t wait to read more :) :) :)
