I'm a beginner who wants to become a professional writer one day.  I have a hyperactive imagination and I often have time focusing on just one thing. I love fanfiction but I also like original stories.  Writing for me right now is just a hobby.  Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Adventure are some of my favorite genres.  And being a girl, I like chick lit.
