Sydney

Hey, my name's Sydney, but then most people call me Syd. I'm a fourteen year old girl from Calgary Alberta. I've been pretty sparse on Wattpad lately, but I'm trying to get more into it as I go. We'll see how that goes I guess. 

I've always liked to write and it's been a passion of mine that I've taken more seriously as I've gotten older. In my spare time I like to write submissions for magazines, and submit poems on other platforms, like Tumblr. I just started high school this fall, but I'd like to be able to get out at a relative pace. I'm hoping to either go to university to study literature or psychology, but I think that's bound to change in four years.

Anyway.. I'm a big reader, (Would totally recommend "The Last Leaves Falling" by Sarah Benwell!) and love to listen to music and play in the school band. My family is also big on aviation, which makes me obsessed with airplanes and airports. They're cool, okay? 
 
I write a lot of realistic fiction and poetry, but like I said before, haven't updated in a while. I am trying to change that though. "Call Me Blackbird" is currently on hold because of a project I've been working on outside Wattpad, and I'm not sure when I'll start writing that again. However, my "Wasting Time" anthology is going to be updated at least once a week. Oh, and if you do check out the Tumblr link below, don't be concerned if you find a "Laine Zimmer"... I use a pseudonym for that site.

Well anyways. If you know high school, you know that I probably have homework to do, so I'd better go. If you're procrastinating too... Welcome to the club.
