Truant D. Memphis

I'm a writer and fictional character. I am an orphan from Texas. I wandered away on foot in search of adventure and wound up an employee of the Universe. Bob is in charge. We think he may be what most people refer to as God. I am continuously tasked with saving the Universe one way or another, usually by telling a story.

I have a wife named Daffodil. We have two children, an adopted son named Daniel Trate who is a true hero in the future, and a daughter named Peaceful Dreaming Memphis. We call her Sweat Pea.

My secret identity is a human on Earth. I'm not sure which Earth, but it is most likely the same one you live on. His favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut and Tom Robbins. He grew up reading almost anything, including tons of comic books. Batman was his favorite.

He likes to play guitar poorly, enjoys the martial arts, really digs music of all genres and tries very hard to be kind.  Any interactions you have with me will also be earnest communications with my secret identity as well. We hope you enjoy our story.
