Hi y’all! So I didn’t post this to everyone on my page when it happened because honestly, I’m not looking for any of you to feel obligated to support me. I lost my job on March 20th and got a new one April 21st. My uploads will start regulating this weekend on my Substack but I want to be transparent with what I can and can’t deliver on. That being said, I’m going to scrap the paid tier on my Substack entirely and email those who did subscribe, copies of the chapters uploaded including what I had lined up to post. This means that whatever is on my paid tier will be gone (besides my edited copies for those who already subscribed), including the paid tier itself. I’ve delivered on multiple chapters a month within the scope of that tier however I know you guys want something more consistent and my day job is what pays the bills, therefore it takes priority. I’ve been doing what I can while figuring life out, but that’s not y’all’s issue to deal with so I’m just going to pull that work and only post the limited free content I had stipulated when I migrated to the platform. My new job does pay better but it’s more demanding as I get accustomed to it, and I’m not willing to fall short on that work while the US prepares for another recession. I hope you guys understand

Hi, I need to rant so bad...
          I am tired of this whole Inkitt, Wattpad and substack arrangement. It's so complicated for absolutely no reason. And I don't think the author herself should have to juggle so many apps. Personally, the paid model is not good, the works are uploaded irregularly, there are no podcast episodes as mentioned and the chat is not used that much, so I genuinely feel scammed right now as well. For context, I am a paid subscriber since Feb($5 is quite a lot in my native country)
          However, I am not here to hate the author like some chronically online kid. I just wanna recommend some changes 
          1. no Inkitt, the app sucks and substack is way better option if u want a backup
          2. Change the paid model cause you are lying to your fans about what it offers, either be straightforward with your irregular schedule or at least, try to follow on your promises.
          
          I feel like I am passive aggressive here but I also think that just because the author is good at writing, she gets a free pass at doing shady things.
