"Well what do you think", I asked.

"I think it's a great idea, but how are we going to finance it"?

"A bank loan".

"How will you get that idea across? I can't see them going for it"!

"I've seen an old B&B. It needs updating and some re-design. We sell it as a place for 'ladies' to come for fashion advice, makeup and beauty sessions. It's not a lie, they don't need to know the type of 'Lady' we're aiming for".

Back at the bedsit, we continued to toss ideas about.

"I want it to be different than the dressing services advertised online. Yes, we will offer the dressing services, shopping, photo sessions etc., but I'm thinking of a 'Ladies' Club. Members could pop in after work, spend a couple of hours or so relaxing. We could even offer longer stays, a week or more".

"What do you think about allowing wives and girlfriends, accompanying our 'ladies'"?

"I'm not sure", I said.

"I think it would work on several levels.
We want our 'ladies' to integrate with feminine society.
Some wives/girlfriends might be having difficulty coming to terms with their partner's desires. This might help them understand that they are not alone".
I could see where she was coming from but was unsure how our 'Ladies' would feel about it. We discussed what we would name the establishment, 'Ladies Club' or 'Ladies Lounge' came top of our list.

"You've not told me about this B&B yet, where is it"?

"Top of the High Street, there is a road on the left, leading to playing fields. Just a bit further up there is a gap in the trees with a gated entry. Set well back there is a big old house that was converted to a B&B".

"I know where you mean, I didn't realise there was a house there".

"Exactly, that's what makes it a perfect location".

Over the next few days, we went to view the B&B. It needed modernisation, and some internal walls moved, but nothing insurmountable. We wrote a business plan with a spreadsheet which included projected expenses and earnings. We rehearsed our pitch as best we could, trying to imagine what they might ask. Then we made an appointment with the bank. On the morning of the appointment, I couldn't decide what to wear.

"Do you think I should wear this business suit", I asked holding up a charcoal grey pencil skirt and jacket, "or something more feminine", showing Penny a lilac skirt and white blouse with a big bow.

"Go with what we originally planned, you in the business suit, me smart secretarial".

Making sure I was comfortable in my underwear, I donned a pair of sheer thigh high stockings. Penny likewise was prepared with a lacy bra. We could use the hint of sex as a distraction if the meeting was heading somewhere we'd prefer not to go.

During our interview, they asked about our previous employment and what experience we had. I told of my organisational skills in the shipping industry. They knew the company I'd worked for and happily done business with them. Turning to Penny to ask her, she leant forward. I saw his eyes take in what he saw.

Breathily she replied, "I have experience in the retail sector, the entertainment industry and a makeup artist for the performers".

"Yes, yes, that's fine", he muttered.

Barely able to tear his eyes from Penny's chest, he said to me, "you
allocated a lot of money for prosthetics"?

"Well", I replied, "not all our ladies are so fortunate in the chest area and desire some enhancement or correction".
