"There's my happy little elf!" He smiled, as you walked through the door, and threw your bag on the floor. "Maybe not..." He said. "What's up?"
"Work." You stated. "I hate it."
"I know you do, but it's one more week until you're off for Christmas ith me and the kids." He smiled, pulling you into a hug. "Why don't you go, get a nice hot shower, relax a bit, and I'll order in." You looked up at him and smiled. "You're the best." You kissed him. "I love you."
"I love you too." He said, before letting you head upstairs. Before you reached the bottom of the stairs, he said: "Cheer up!" He pointed at you. "It's Christmas!"
