Chapter 14

They all sat around the table and talked and joked around and had a great time until they had to leave since it was almost 10 and Gavin's mom was getting worried so they left the place and said bye to the others and then decided to walk home since they weren't far away from the house and they wanted to take a walk through LA so they did

Gavin-that was a nice dinner your friends are nice

Sophie- yeah they are

Gavin- I hope you don't mind but I got all their numbers even Corrine and Emily's

Sophie- oh I'm fine with it I trust you and them

Gavin- ok

Sophie- CRAP! I forgot to talk to Emily and Corrine

Gavin- is it urgent?

Sophie- No, I'll just call them tonight

Gavin- ok

they continue walking occasionally stopping to look over at people and store windows filled with treats and random objects that just caught peoples eye. all while talking to one another about life and just random things They soon get out of the city and as there walking it start to sprinkle turning into a full on the thunder storm

Sophie- Aww man this is a new outfit and 30 dollars shoes 😤

Gavin laughed and grabbed her hand and they both ran to find some shelter they soon
found some shelter under a gazebo in the park
Which they stayed at for awhile

Sophie- ugh my shoes 😤 I spent 30 dollars on these

Gavin: you wasted your money

Sophie.- Shut up

Gavin laughed and sat on the. Bench Sophie followed with no shoes on since her were ruined

Sophie- So how long you think we gonna be here?

Gavin: idk maybe like 30 minutes

Sophie- but your mom

Gavin: I was gonna text her but my phone died.

Sophie- Atleast you have your phone I left mine in the Uber 😓

Gavin: why didn't you grab it if you knew where it was

Sophie: the driver already left awhile ago plus I found out when we were walking

Gavin: oh

Sophie: I'm bored and cold

Gavin: Well do you wanna run home in the rain with no shoes? Or do you wanna wait here in this dry area

Sophie: fine

Sophie walked over to her shoes and started to pour water out of them and try to fix them up a bit

Gavin: Your going?

Sophie- no I'm just trying to fix my shoes for when we do go

Gavin- I have a better idea

Gavin walked up behind Sophie her back still turned and grabbed her making her drop her shoes he planted a kiss on her lips leaving her surprised at first but a second later she kissed back this went on for a few seconds until they stopped for air and sat back down it was awkward silence for a little until Sophie went back to fixing her shoes and Gavin went back to waiting for the rain to stop or ease up and just watching cars pass by on the road. 5 minutes later the rain starts to ease up and it's now sprinkling which was good enough to walk in Sophie was done with her shoes so since they were cold and clothes wet they made sure there were no thunder or lightning and started walking towards the house they were down the street from it so it wasn't far and they were exhausted but then thunder came followed by lighting so they ran to his house when they walked in they didn't see anyone there so they just thought they were sleep Sophie went upstairs to Sarahs room and Gavin went to his when Sophie walked in she saw Sarah sitting with some other girl she had blonde hair and brown eyes and was wearing Jeans and a  cropped t-shirt with converse (Picture) and her hair was in a ponytail.
