Y/N POV

After I fainted I was sure it might just be a dream inside a dream???. I opened my eyes and realized that my thought was so wrong. All 7 contestants were staring right at me.

"Guys she waking up.." I heard Popo said. "Finally it's been an hour," Lonky said. I quickly sat down still looking at the contestants still oblivious. "So... uhmm... who are you?" Gai asked. "And what are you?" Popo asked. "Oh no, this can't be real! I must still be in a dream" I said to myself. "Wake up Y/N, Wake up!". Then I felt someone pinch me on my arm. "OW!!!" I yelled. " hey what was that for?" I looked at whoever pinched me. "Nope, You're awake," Lonky said. I just looked at him. " So uh... we never caught your name?" Liu asked. "And where you came from?" Kuga asked. "And how you got here?" Miyo added. "Oh right, I guess we started off with the wrong foot," I said a little embarrassed. I cleared my throat and started talking." So, Hi, My name is Y/N. I'm from another dimension, and I have absolutely no idea how I got here. And I'm a human being from a place called C/N." I said cheerfully. "Hold up did you say a different dimension?" Lonky asked. "Awesome!" Popo asked. the others just rolled their eyes at the 2 of them.

"Well, hi Y/N! Welcome to the running man championship!" Liu said. " I'm--" But I cut him off. " Liu, your name is Liu". Liu had his jaw dropped. "How did you--". 

"Oh, I know all your names". I said and turned around to face the others. "we have Liu, Kuga Lonky, Popo, Gai, Miyo and Pala" I said pointing at them then crossed my arms. The others were looking at me like there were looking at a ghost. "H-How did she-?" Gai asked. "Funny you should ask you guys are animations in my world" I smirked. "Animations. As in Cartoons," Pala asked. "Yup, cartoons for children. Though some do say your show is for teens. Probably because of the tension in the end I don't want to be spoilers" I chuckled.

Liu's POV

"Wait don't cartoons have tragedy? will there be one in our life?" Lonky asked. "Hmmm... Can't tell don't want to tell who your future bf will be"Y/N said directly to Lonky. "Wha?!?!?!" He yelled and we all laughed. "Wait bf? doesn't that mean-" Popo said. "Yep Boyfriend" Y/N smirked. We continued laughing. " So does that mean Lonky is..." I said but laughed before I could say, Gay. 

"I AM NOT GAY!!!!" Lonky exclaimed. "Guys don't be like that, it isn't confirmed yet still waiting for the next season," Y/N said as she pats Lonky's shoulder."Sorry, Lonky Didn't mean to say it out loud" She apologies. Lonky just scoffed.

Suddenly the hologram of CG appeared. (Too lazy to write the full name CG means Charming Gold) "My dear running man contestants I-" CG said but cut when she saw Y/N. " I see you have a visitor," He said. "Who is she? and how the heck did she get in?!". "Easy now, Mr. Gold I didn't know how I got here too. Somehow I woke up in your hallway," Y/N explained. CG examined Y/N by looking at her head to toe. " You look like a human. but they were extinct a thousand years ago during the war," Cg said. "Wait, there was a Human tribe?!?!?" I yelled. "yes, and all humans were confirmed to be dead," Cg said. " But I see one still lived," Cg said in an eerie tone. "Well In my dimension there are a lot of humans who lived," Y/N said. "So your not from here?" CG asked. Y/N shooked her head. " Your situation sounds a lot like that other human that came here".

"Wait another human came here too?" Y/N asked. Cg nodded. " About 6 years ago". "6 years ago?" Y/N asked. There was something about that question that seemed to upset Y/N. "Hey are you ok?" I asked Y/N. "I'm OK just zoned out," She replied and turned to the hologram of CG. "So how will I able to go back to my dimension?" She questioned. CG's face turned serious. "You'll have to compete in the championship," He said. Y/n face frowned. "But what if I lose?" Y/n asked. "Well just like that human before she's still here but sadly died during the competition," CG said. If I didn't know better Y/n turned pale white. "I-I can't if I stay here....." Y/n said while shaking her head then sighed. She looked at CG. "Fine, I'll compete," "Ok, our next game will be resume tomorrow. then the hologram of Cg disappeared.

 Y/N Pov

"It's ok Y/N. it's better to live in a dimension of your favorite animated program than to live in your terrible life" I whispered to myself. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see Liu. "Don't worry Y/n will be able to help you and if you won't be able to win will still be your friends," Liu said. I smiled and sighed. "Thanks, Liu to be honest I'd rather stay here than go back to my world," I said truthfully. "Really but why? don't you wanna be with your friends and family?" Gai asked. "Don't have friends" I said without hesitation. "Mind telling us your backstory," Miyo asked. "I don't know, It's a long story," I said. " If you don't know I have a master's degree in English-I love long stories," Liu asked. fine but I'm warning you my story doesn't come with a happy ending and a nice background.

You only lived once, But if you do it right,  once is enough.
