"Less readdy more scratchy" said King as he laid on Luz's legs

"Oh sorry , now that I'll be a student at Hexside I wanna learn all about it" said Luz excitedly "I have a new crush and her name is education!"

"I also have a new crush and her name is Actually finding out how to do a spell that doesn't explode in my face" said Luis tiredly

"C'mon you're doing amazing" said Pete as he flew on Luis's shoulder

"Really?" Asked Luis frowning

"No you're doing awful , I was just trying to get you to stop moping" said Pete

Then Eda burst through the door happily

"Hey freeloaders , guess what today is" said Eda happily

"Is it your birthday?" Asked Luz happily

"Is it my birthday?" Asked King

"Is it the day my suffering comes to an end?" Asked Luis tiredly

"Is it the day robots finally take over?" Asked Tess going down the stairs

"No! , It's human treasure day!" Said Eda happily as she opened the portal and Owlbert came through it with human stuff that was spilled all over the floor"ahh fresh garbage"

"Ahh gimme gimme gimme" said King as he ran to the trash pile and took out a teddy bear "yes! Another worthy edition to my army of terror"

Then King pulled the bear's string and it said "I love cuddles and kisses"

"As someone with a fear of puppets this is terrifying" said Luis frowning "one second it's fluffy hugs and another they're trying to kill you in your sleep"

"Wha?" Asked Eda in confusion

"He once made a doll robot with the purpose of giving him hugs when he needs them" said Tess rolling her eyes "it thought that hugs were a constant necessity and tried to hug Luis's lifeless corpse for the rest of existence, that's why__*ting*...oh sorry.... , I have to see this"

Then Tess left the room in a hurry

"I wonder what that's about" said Luis raising a brow

then King laughed

"Well that won't happen to me" said King confidently "no one betrays this King!"

"I'm now wondering how this is gonna backfire" said Pete chuckling

"Studying with Willow and Gus and maybe even Amity" said Luz before realizing "Amity! Oh cramity we we're supposed to meet so I can get my Azura book back!"

Then Luz left in a hurry after dropping an "I love you guys"

"Eh who needs her" said Eda frowning

"Yeah , this bear could be our new Luz!" Said King before pulling the bear's string

"Being without you is unbearable" said the teddy bear before King threw it on the ground

"YOU'RE unbearable!" Said King angrily

"This is gonna backfire on him isn't it?" Asked Pete

"Yep" said Luis as he held the staff

Luis was walking to his room when he remembered Tess

"I guess I can check up on her for once" said Luis shrugging

He walked towards the room Tess was in and opened the door

"Hey Te_" said Luis before looking inside "Wha?"

He saw Tess but her screen was showing an obnoxious amount of text moving around even overlapping

"Tess!" Yelled Luis angrily

Then Tess popped back into reality

"Aah! Oh hey Luis" said Tess nervously

"Tess what's going on?" Asked Luis seriously

"What do you mean? Everything is perfectly fine! Hehe" Said Tess nervously smiling

"So why were you using "high speed calculation" mode?" Asked Luis narrowing his eyes "the mode made for solving serious issues at high speeds"

"What mode? What're you talking about?" Said Tess nervously "I was just.... playing chess! Yeah! Against myself !"

"Show me the board then" said Luis frowning "I wanna see how it's going"

Tess then showed him a near finished chess match

"Tess , this one of our old matches" said Luis frowning

"What? You remember them?" Asked Tess in surprise

"Yes , yes I do" said Luis angrily "what are you hiding Tess?"

"Uh nothing" said Tess nervously

"LUIS, EDA!" The two heard Luz tell from downstairs

"This is not over" said Luis angrily

"You have to teach me a spell , right now!" Said Luz in a hurry

"Sorry Luz , these vegetables won't cook themselves...yet" said Eda before pouring a liquid on the vegetables "alright everybody in the pot"

But the vegetables just ran away

"Why do I always think that's gonna work?" said Eda

This was what Luis saw as walked down the stairs

"But I need to know 2 spells to get into decent classes at Hexside" said Luz "and I can make light but at the end of the day that's the only spell I know , Luis doesn't even know a single spell"

"That's true" said Pete

"And whose fault is that?" Asked Eda

"Yours" said Luz with her face completely on the floor

"So am I not getting into Hexside?" Asked Luis frowning

"After all I've done to get you in" said Tess tiredly "you're not gonna be able to learn two spells so quickly"

"Well there's still hope" said Pete "there's one spell that could save this situation"

"Wait really , you aren't just saying that to the moping" said Luis raising a brow

"Yep , i like to call the spell "mimic"" said Pete

"Please tell it's not just copying magic spells or something" said Luis frowning

"No that would just be incredibly useless" said Pete "I'll tell you what it does__"

"Boot camp" said Eda smiling

"When we get to the boot camp!" said Pete enthusiastically
