"For a girl with so much hope for other people, you don't have much for yourself. " He stated while turning on his side to study the face of the beautiful girl laying next to him.

She hummed, not taking her eyes off the midnight sky. He exhaled and moved a strand of her hair behind her ear, his hand lingering.

"What are you afriad of?" He whispered trying to figure out what was going on in her complex mind.

"Thunderstorms." She awsnered, knowing he didn't know the deeper meaning behind the simple awsner, no one did. She heard him let out a frustrated sigh and stand up. She knew that wasn't what he wanted to hear but it was the only truth she could give him that meant something to her.

As he begin to walk away from the mess that was her, she never took her big brown eyes off the sky. He stopped a few feet away when he knew she wouldn't be able to hear him and took one good look at her,

"I'm afraid of you."

If he had only known, he wasn't the only one.
