Jane's fever got worse and worse, despite what the doctor had told her.

It used to be low. Only 99.1 degrees. Not good, but not entirely life-threatening either.

She decided to take a nap. For just an hour or two.

When she woke up, however, Jane got quite a shock. She took her temperature again. The thermometer beeped.

110.5 degrees?!

Wasn't that dangerous? Wouldn't she have had brain damage?

In another hour, it was 150 degrees.

Then, 197 degrees.

Soon, Jane was sweating bullets, unable to think or even speak. Hell flooded her entire body.

200 degrees.

700 degrees.

She didn't die. She wouldn't die. Things were lost, but not the torture of consciousness. Something had taken hold, an outside force. It wouldn't let her die.

Not until—

1,200 degrees.

1,300 degrees.

1,400 degrees.

Ignition.
