CHAPTER EIGHT

Natasha rubs the back of her neck nervously standing but still looking the ground "two years" she answers quietly waiting for the backlash

"Are you kidding me?!" Ruby shouts dropping her hands

Anne and Beth look at each other nod at one another to give the sisters privacy Anne grabs popcorn and the turn corner going to Beths room

Natasha lifts her head up rolling her eyes "Ruby can you calm down?" Natasha asks not in the mood to fight

Ruby scoffs at her younger sister in dismissal "youre dating a gangbanger Natasha its very hard for me to be calm" she retorts glaring at Natasha from across the room

"You just really enjoy the dangerous life" Ruby adds on making her sister angry

Natasha twist her face in anger pointing a finger at her "You dont say that when you are actually doing criminal activity unlike you im not involved in anything"

Ruby scoffs at her "youre sleeping with the damn crime boss" she responds with

Natasha takes a deep breath "look Im not gonna apologize we were together before you desperate houswives got into the picture I wish I couldve told you at a better time but I didnt"

'When you two break up he's gonna come after us because you couldnt keep your hands to yourself" Ruby says glaring at Natasha

Natasha smacks her lips sassily shaking her head "no he would probably kill you guys for stealing from him my vagina has nothing to do with it"

"This is the one time that choose to be irresponsible and it'll come back to bite us in the ass" Ruby gestures around the empty living room

Natasha takes a deep breath then picks up her jacket "Im gonna leave before things get ugly later Ruby" then she makes her way out of the door

The two other sisters reveal themselves from around the corner slowly "we heard everything" Anne says breaking the silence

Beth glares at her then she quickly turns to Ruby "what are we gonna do?" She asks

Ruby wordlessly shrugs sitting down on the couch looking at her hands

Natasha arrives at the liquor store picking up some whiskey

She politly thinks the man behind the cash register with a soft smile

Moments later Natasha leaves the store then goes to a park while its dark

The woman sits down at the park bench by the water with the plastic bag containing the drink in her hand

Looking at the night sky in silence the whiskey then makes its way into her hands she quickly pops of the cap

Taking a big sip more like a gulp but she calls it a sip to make herself not feel too bad for drinking

Natasha turns on her phone to be greeted with a photo of her , Stan , Ruby , Sara , and Money smiling happily at the camera as they sit outside at the park for a picnic

Then she unlocks it to see a photo of her kissing Rios cheek as he smiles at the camera with a red blush on his face showing off his pearly white teeth

Natasha groans shutting off her phone she feels guilty for letting the girls down but

Their business with Rio never brought tension to their relationship in her eyes

But to them they see as a problem instead of a family member or a friend which hurt like a bitch but hey maybe Ruby was right

Natasha honestly thinks her and Rio should split if its gonna Hurt Ruby so much

The woman then takes another big sip making a face as the drink burns her throat not fully used to the taste

She stares at the night stars quietly unknowingly missing calls from 'Rio❤😘' as her phone was on silent the whole night

As Natasha temporarily drank her problems away

Natasha opens her eyes squinting at the sunlight hiting her dark brown eyes

She sits up to realizing that she slept on someones couch last night

Not just anyones her best friend Cleo Micheals [Nafessa Williams] couch "good morning sunshine" Cleo greets from her bar stool in her kitchen as she sips on coffee

Natasha serves up the middle finger removing the covers off of her curvy body she looks down to see that she woman is sporting

Old pajamas she left over her house which consist of baggy oversized pajama pants along with a baggy oversized shirt that Rio forgot about

Natasha walks over to her while yawning "can I get something for a hangover?" She asks tiredly

"Yep you know exactly where everything is" Cleo says pointing towards her bathroom while taking another sip

Natasha feets patter across her floor as goes into the bathroom grabbing some pills then walks back into the kitchen getting the bottled water thats waiting for her on the marble island in the middle

She swallows the pills quickly then turns around grabbing the captain crunch making a bowl of cereal Cleo looks over at her "what?" Natasha asks

"What happened to make you end up on my poor old couch" Cleo replies raising a brow

Natasha looks down playing the cereal "me and Ruby got into a argument I guess" she says quietly "and?" Cleo inquires

"It was over Rio" She finshes "I knew she wasnt going to like Rio knowing all the shit he's into I told you" Cleo confessesd

Natasha rolls her eyes then spots her phone on the coffee table she notices its dead "hey can I borrow a charger ?" She asks knowing she probably missed a call or two

"Its in my bedroom" Cleo says finsihing the last of her coffee
