The twisting strands of smoke
Fill the muddled
Choked air
The smell of moss
The fire heat
And burning light
The radio playing
Softly
The buzzing station
The crackling leaves
The line where
The glow fades
And darkness consumes
The mystery
The creep
Of the twilight
The lonely boy
On his knees
Asking for forgiveness
From the stars
Playing his guitar to the night
